Fall of 2025 opened with some of the largest (and warmest) events that we’ve ever had. Our staff and students welcomed new people with ice cream, smoothies, nachos, worship and prayer. Is there a better combination?
Our ministry has a long tradition of doing a smaller service with worship on the Sunday night before classes start. We were busting at the seams last night, trying to fill every open gap with a seat. This year will be a large year of transition for us, and it was beautiful to have our staff and students committing the coming year to the Lord.
Nights like last night also highlight the need for our upcoming building project. We need more space that will allow for us to care for and minister to this giant wave of incoming students. We need places for these students to grow and be discipled. And … as we welcome new students every August … we really need air conditioning.
In just 6 weeks, we’ll be moving out of this building and the construction will begin. Pray for our transition and for this new wave of students! May we love them well.
