6-8-26: So close we can almost taste it

We are putting the finishing touches on this amazing project. Take a look at our progress!

Just last week, staff and students joined forces to move everything back in to our new place (pictures below). We have been putting office furniture together, cleaning and organizing, all while starting our Summer Encounter groups and sending a group of 19 students off to Kenya on a mission trip. Things are hopping!

Meanwhile, our coffee partners (Lab Coffee) are training their baristas and our counseling partners (Truth in Love) are setting up their offices. We are so close to being fully operational!

From a fundraising perspective, we are 98% fundraised! We have about $68,000 left to raise. (But, since we have a donor who is matching gifts, that number is actually cut in half.) If you’ve been waiting until the end to give a gift, now is the time! Our prayer all along has been that the Lord would help us have our full budget pledged by August 1st.

We continue to be humbled by the huge number of people who have helped make this dream and prayer become a reality.

Join us for our official ribbon cutting and opening on June 27th! We’ll have a morning event that starts at 10am with Ben Zobrist in ISU’s Brown Ballroom – tickets can be purchased here. And then at 11:45am we’ll have a short ribbon cutting at 210 W Mulberry for Encounter’s new home. Come be with us!
