What an incredible showing of generosity we had at our banquet. We had over $81,000 committed as either pledges or gifts received. At the end of April, our fundraising total for this project sits at $2,251,151, which puts us at 70% funded! Thank you Lord!
Additionally, because Wesleyan is completely renovating their dining center, we were able to pick up 37 chairs and 34 commercial tables yesterday. Our hope is to refurbish those tables for the coming coffeeshop which will save thousands of dollars toward furnishings in our new space. What a gift.
As we had our last Encounter worship of the school-year on Tuesday, we were blown away by our Father’s generosity in this project and in the way He has been working among our students and staff. Please continue to pray for us as there are many decisions to be made in the coming weeks.
As David wrote in Psalm 9:1, “I’ll give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of your wonderful deeds.”
