What an amazing turnout we had for our Spring Banquet on April 26th. We filled every table in the Brown Ballroom on ISU’s campus and enjoyed celebrating all that God has done in the last 12 months. It’s a beautiful thing to see the “village” gathered that has helped our ministry thrive for 59 years.
And … we were able to make a fun announcement. As of last Friday, we had $325,001.77 left to raise for our project. I (Ben) received a phone call from a local couple who asked about our project’s progress and financial need. They told me they wanted to provide matching funds until we are fully funded. (!!!) Did you read that? Any gifts we receive from this point on are officially doubled.
We had an incredible offering at the banquet. People pledged/gave $76,783.77. With the matching gift, that means we are over $153k closer to our goal! That puts us at 95.4% fundraised! We have $171k left to raise, and any money pledged from now until we are fully funded will be matched.
Thank you Jesus for giving us a pathway to being debt-free on this project. We are thankful beyond words!
After the banquet, we were also able to let people walk through the new building. In just a few weeks it will be full of students!
